Philly boxer, William Boggs Shot to death

According to the Philadelphia Inquier, William "Bobcat" Boggs, who was a national finalist in the 2005 Golden Gloves was shot and killed Friday afternoon.
the 19 year old was shot once in the head at 4pm at 1900 Church Street and was pronounced dead shortly after at Temple University Hospital.
Boggs had a record of 3-0 with all of his fights taking place at The Legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia, with his most recent fight taking place just three weeks ago as he defeated Mike Mcfail in an exciting bout.
Boggs gained local recognition as he made it all the way to national finals of the prestigious Golden Gloves Tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas before losing to Daniel Jacobs of Brooklyn, New York.
There have been no arrests.
