Dejesus stops Navarrette in twelve!!!!

Alex Dejesus scored a twelfth round stoppage over Adrian Navarrete in a Jr. Welterweight bout in Toja Baja, Puerto Rico.

Dejesus bxoed well from the southpaw stance as he moved in and out against the plodding Navarrete.

In round eight, Dejesus scored well with a series of right hooks and straight rights. Dejesus had Navarrete in trouble in round ten and finall finised the fight off with a barrage of punches at 1:23 of ound twelve.

With the win, Dejesus, of San Juan Puerto Rico is now 18-0 with twelve knockouts. Navarrete of Durango, Mexico is now 17-6-1.

In a battle of former multiple time world title challengers, Jose Lopez scored a stoppage over Oscar Andrade after round seven in action packed super flyweight bout that was scheduled for ten rounds.

Lopez won most of the rounds and there were some furious exchanges, especially in round three.

Lopez was warned for heavy low blows in rounds five & seven. Lopez scored a knockdown in round six. In the decisive seventh, Lopez landed a shot on the hip that sent Andrade down that was ruled a low blow. Lopez then knocked Andrade down with body punches later in the round. When the bell rang to signal then end of the seventh, Andrade had seen enough and called it a night.

With the win, Lopez, of Puerto Rico is 37-7-2 with Thirty-One knockouts. Andrade of Mexico is now 36-34-2.
