'IT'S THE RIGHT TIME
TO FIGHT SUGAR SHANE'
World welterweight champion
Miguel Cotto said today "...it's the perfect
time in my career to fight Sugar Shane Mosley."
Cotto, 30-0 and coming off
a brilliant performance and victory over a rugged,
determined Zab Judah, said "It's time to
get serious, get to work, be with my team and
put the right kind of game plan together.
"I am looking forward
to a great fight that will surpass the excitment
of my last one at Madison Square Garden,"
Cotto said. "I will train hard, like I
always do, and be prepared."
Cotto said he will train
in Puerto Rico. His uncle and chief trainer,
Evangelista Cotto, will put together and supervise
a training program.
Bob Arum told fight writer
Franklin McNeil of the Newark Star-Ledger "....a
win over Mosley, who is a great fighter, takes
Miguel to a new level."

Furious' will be promoted by Golden Boy, Top
Rank and is scheduled Nov 10 at Madison Square
