WCBMI Opens Training Center

 

Scott Hirsch’s World Class Boxing Management Inc., proudly announces the opening of the WCBMI Training Center in Davie, Florida. The 4,000 square foot Training Center boasts a 20x20’ ring, a full variety of speed and heavy bags, a state-of-the-art weight-training circuit, specialized abdominal machines and a full complement of cardio and plyometric equipment.

 

“It’s a place where the WCBMI stable and other invited boxers can go to prepare for fights in a modern training facility, designed specifically for professional boxers,” explains Hirsch.

 

The WCBMI stable currently boasts the likes of world-rated heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs, cruiserweight Eliseo “The Kid” Castillo and undefeated, young heavyweight knockout sensation JD “The Natural” Chapman. “(World-ranked heavyweight contender) Ray Austin and (former heavyweight champion) Michael Moorer have already worked out there as well.

 

“We wanted to have a place where our guys could train that had everything they would need, in house. I think it’s going to give them yet another advantage when they fight, getting ready in a world-class gym like this.”

 

The facility is staffed by two full-time boxing trainers Milton Lacroix and Anthony Wilson and a strength and conditioning coach, Robert Arias.
