Patricia “Patty Boom Boom” Alcivar wins big in NYC and moves to 4-0


Female super flyweight sensation Patricia “Patty Boom Boom” Alcivar moves her perfect record to 4-0(3KO) with a dominating unanimous decision win over Laura Gomez 3-3 of Mexico. Alcivar set the pace from the opening bell by pressing the action and overwhelming the Mexican fighter. Alcivar the former 2 time NYC golden gloves and National Champion dazzled her hometown crowd for the first time as a professional fighter starting with her ring entrance proudly displaying her Colombian heritage to the final bell of non stop action. The constant pressure by Alcivar noticeably frustrated Gomez as the Sonra Mecixo native resorted to noticeable fouls of grabbing behind the head and intentionally headbutting the NYC native. Gomez was in trouble a few times in the fight but held on. Alcivar who improved to 4-0, was brought the distance the first time. Boom Boom said after the fight that she felt Gomez was ready to go few times but was contanstly tied up and held by the Mexican fighter who was simply fighting to survive the fight. Alcivar was awarded a unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the fight 40-36.
