CLICK TO ORDER THE FIGHT CARD
Cynthia Tolaymat became a household name to boxing fans after her March 25th 2011 show titled “Chicago Fight Night” which featured matches with Osumanu Adama facing world ranked Marcus Upshaw battling for the IBO Inter-Continental middleweight title, the rugged, dependable tough as nails Mexican ring veteran Angel “Toro” Hernandez facing the very young vocal Miami, Florida resident Joey “Twinkle Fingers” Hernandez, world title contender Lanardo “The Pain Server” Tyner facing the young fast rising hot prospect Adrian Granados, as well as local fighters such Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez, Antonio Canas, Eric Estrada, etc .

After the show Tolaymat was surprised with the overwhelming support and praises from not only the surrounding states that share the borders with Illinois but from fighters, promoters, and fans from the West Coast, East Coast, Down south, etc. What was Tolaymat truly expecting after putting on a show many in the media has called on of the best fight cards in years.

Tolaymat knows it will be hard but not impossible to top her previously promoted event, she is obviously more than willing to clash head on with the challenge. Tolaymat had many obstacles to overcome as a promoter, one was being a woman in a male dominated sport, people quickly realized not to take her kindness for weakness. Tolaymat who is extremely intelligent and boxing savvy is once again trying to make history and becoming Chicago’s new leading promoter who just happens to be a female.

Saluting fighters as Rita “La Guera” Figueroa, and thanking other women in the sport such as Jackie Smith for help paving the way for her.

Tolaymat understands that the past helps create the future and looks to bring the boxing world back to Chicago. “I believe in putting on evenly matched fights, look at the history of my events, I believe the fans deserve more. One thing I did not want to do was put on events that the fans already knew who would walk away victorious, I truly believe in the phrase May the best man win.”

Tolaymat along with her team has assembled quite possibly one of the best promotional teams in Chicago in recent years, all working hand-to-hand on the daily objectives. Tolaymat and her team worked hard to present a card that the fans will want to leave their homes and support not only the sport, but also the fighters and her promotional company. We worked hard to bring in fighters we feel is capable of providing the fans what they truly want to see”

On July 15th Tolaymat has brought in 3 titles each fighter worthy on being a Main Event on any major television outlet. “Chicago Fight Night #2” features welterweight title contender Lanardo “The Pain Server” Tyner (24-4 15KO’s) who will be facing former WBA light welterweight champion “Vicious” Vivian Harris (29-6 19KO’s) for the USBO welterweight championship. Featured as the Co-Main event will feature current WBA Pan African & ABU light welterweight champion “Tornado” Albert Mensah facing Canadian star “Gorgeous” Andre Gorges for the vacant IBF International Light Welterweight championship. The undercard will feature Chicago favorites such as Antonio Canas, Adrian Granados, Eric Estrada, Foster Nkodo, Donatas Bondoravas, Marlon Thomas, Boban Simic, Etc.

Tolaymat next event, which is slated for September, features Osumanu Adama who currently holds the IBO International, IBO Inter-Continental and USBA middleweight title clashing with former IBF light middleweight world champion Roman Karmazin (40-4-2, 26 KO’s) in a box off tournament, proposed by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in the middleweight division. The event has already drew interest from media outlets such as HBO and Showtime, which is no surprise considering Adama’s fan support. This promoter is promoting events the fans wants to see, a new promoter is here and her name is Cynthia Tolaymat of CFC Promotions.
