PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 1, 2012)—On Saturday night October 27th, a special night of boxing will take place at Harrahs Philadelphia (formally Harrahs Chester) as a show billed “Fight For The Cure “as the show will feature some of the best female boxers in the world.

The show is promoted by Joey Eye Boxing Promotions & David Feldman in association with Bionic Bull Promotions

A portion of the proceeds from of the event will go to Breast Cancer Awareness.

In the main event, Melissa St. Vil will take on Jackie Trivilino for the vacant WIBA International Super Featherweight title.

St. Vil of Brooklyn, NY has a record of 2-1-2 and despite having only five fights, she has faced and defeated top competition.

She opened her career with a draw with the popular Olivia Fonseca and has win over Jennifer Han and Evette Collazo.

Trivilino of Plattsburgh, NY has a record of 8-5-2 with one knockout and is always in all-action fights.

She has a win over Angel Gladney (6-1-1) and two draws with former world title challenger Nydia Feliciano. In Trivilino’s last fight, she fought a war with undefeated world champion Ronica Jeffrey (9-0) before dropping an eight round unanimous decision.

In a six round Featherweight bout, LaKeysha Williams (9-16-3, 1 KO) of Philadelphia will take on Ela “Bam Bam”Nunez (11-13-2, 3 KO’s) Of Jamestown, NY

In a six round Super Featherweight bout, undefeated Althea Saunders (3-0) will battle Carla Torres (3-2) of Cleveland, OH

In a six round Bantamweight bout, Patty “Boom Boom” Alcivar (6-1, 3 KO’s) of Queens, NY takes on an opponent to be named

In a six round Bantamweight bout, Former world title challenger, Nydia Feliciano (5-3-3) will see action against an opponent to be named.

In a four round Flyweight bout, Tyrieshia Douglas (1-0) of Washington, DC boxes an opponent to be named

Also on the card against opponents to be named will be Lightweight Liz Sherman (4-2, 2 KO’s) of Philadelphia, Flyweight Keisher McLoed Wells (5-2, 1 KO) of New York, and pro debuting Light Flyweight Susan Reno of New York.

There will also be two men’s bouts to be added.
