Prospect Boxing are pleased to announce their second show in 2013, with a a show at the Cleland Miners Welfare Club pencilled in for Friday May 24th. The evening promises to entertain with 4 fights scheduled as well as a Comedian and a meal included in the ticket price.

In their third show at the Cleland Miners Welfare Club, the last prospect show was in December 2011 and featured Iain Butcher in his second fight and Daniel Micallef caused an upset by beating Chris Steel on points .Confirming Prospect Boxing’s return, owner Paul Graham explains that he is looking to something different “After the success of the ‘Steelmen Return’ show at Ravenscraig I wanted to get the ball rolling on the next show.

“While there are loads of dinner shows out there, what I wanted to do was take the format and give and see if we can do the same thing without the premium price tag usually associated with it. Were planning four fights, we already have Alex Montgomery (Ack Man) and Sean Watson on it, and I hopefully will be announcing more over the next few weeks.

He further adds “We also will have a comedian on the night to lighten mood as well as offering a meal in the price of the tickets. The venue itself holds 300 people and I am confident we can sell this one out and it will make for a cracking atmosphere, and a great way to start the Bank Holiday weekend.

Prospect Boxing present ‘The Ack Man Cometh’ the pro debut of Alex Montgomery and the return of Sean Watson at the Cleland Miners Welfare Club on Friday May 24th .

Tickets priced £35 are available from the boxers or by calling 01698 338 888 .
