According to Dan Rafael of espn.com, WBA Lightweight champion Richar Abril will defend his title against Edward Troyanovsky in Russia.

“I have a deal with Abril,” Promoter Vlad Hrunov told ESPN.com on Wednesday. “It’s a big fight for our country.” The fight will be Abril’s second bout outside the United States. In 2011, he traveled to Panama and won a unanimous decision against Panama’s Miguel Acosta in a 135-pound interim title bout.
