Miguel Roman scored a upset when he stopped former world champion Daniel Ponce De Leon in round nine of a scheduled 10-round Super Featherweight bout at Estadio de Beisbol in Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Roman scored a knockdown in round six and finished off a weary De Leon in the 9th when he landed about 20 unanswered blows as De Leon was squatted down in the corner.

Roman, 127 1/2 lbs of Chihuahua, MX is now 46-11 with 35 knockouts. De Leon, 129 lbs of Chihuahua, MX is now 45-7.

Macos Reyes scored a 10-round unanimous decision over Octavio Castro in a Jr. Welterweight bout.

Catro, 159 lbs is now 32-1. Reyes, 157 lbs is now 16-13-2.
