Nutley, NJ (July 23, 2014)–This Friday night at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, undefeated Super Middleweight’s Jerry “The King’s Son” Odom (11-0, 10 KO’s–8 in the 1st round) battles Vilier Quinonez (8-0, 5 KO’s) in an 8-round bout for the interim WBC FECARBOX title.

The show is promoted by GH3 Promotions, Greg Cohen Promotions and is sponsored by Modell’s Sporting Goods and will be part of the special 200th broadcast of ShoBox: The New Generation beginning at 10 PM ET.

Odom of Bowie, Maryland has been hailed in a lot of circles as one of the biggest punching Super Middleweight prospects in the world.

Although Quinonez is undefeated, Odom is not too concerned what the native of Miami will bring to the table.

“I don’t look at my opponent. I let my trainers go through the tapes,” said the 21-year Odom.

“He is undefeated just like me. The fight will come down to who is hungrier. I have my head on straight and I will do what I have to do on July 25.”

This will be the national television debut for Odom but he is just taking this like any other fight.

“Fighting on television is no big deal. It’s just me being seen by more people. I am the same type of fighter no matter what the situation.”

“I am going to handle my business in the ring and I am going to be the same person and I am going to complete my mission and that is to win.”

The knockout artist finished by saying, “I am going to do what I have to do on July 25. I just want to thank the fans, GH3 Promotions, my trainers, strength and conditioning coaches and everyone who has helped in my career and just remember, dreams do come true.”

The card is packed top to bottom as in the main event, undefeated Antoine Douglas (14-0, 9 KO’s) of Burke, VA will take on former world title challenger Michele Soro (23-1, 13 KO’s) of France in a 10-round fight for the WBA International title.

Cecil McCalla (18-0, 6 KO’s) of Randallstown, MD battle Oscar Godoy (13-2, 6 KO’s) of Watsonville, CA in a Welterweight bout scheduled for 8-rounds.

Wanzell Ellison (11-0-1, 5 KO’s) of Newark, NJ will fight Tony Luis (17-2, 7 KO’s) of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada in a 8-round Lightweight bout.

OFF-TV will see Super Featherweight Jorge Diaz (17-3, 10 KO’s) of New Brunswick, NJ take on an Ramon Ellis (4-11-2, 2 KO’s) of Philadelphia, PA.

Samuel Teah (4-0, 2 KO’s) of Philadelphia will fight Lavisas Williams (4-0-1, 3 KO’s) of Rochester, NY in a 4-round Super Featherweight bout featuring undefeated fighters.

Featherweight Glenn Dezurn of Maryland will make his pro debut against NyCedric Ellis (0-1) of Ohio in a 4-round Featherweight bout.
