Comprising the all-star “Rumble on the River” broadcast team for the show will be former world champion, Oklahoma resident and USA Tuesday Night Fights commentator Sean O’Grady, well-known boxing-media man and host of “In This Corner” James “Smitty” Smith and top-level ring announcer Thomas Treiber.

“Rumble on the River” will be headlined by appearances by three former world champions.

In separate eight-round co-main event matches will be colorful and always entertaining former WBA/WBC Welterweight and former WBC Light Middleweight Champion Ricardo “El Matador” Mayorga (29-8-1, 23 KOs) taking on 33-fight veteran and ex-US Marine Allen “Funky Cole” Medina of Denver, Colorado; hard-hitting former WBC Heavyweight Champion Samuel Peter (34-5, 27 KOs) facing former ECHL hockey enforcer turned heavyweight KO artist Ron “The Iceman” Aubrey (12-3, 12 KOs) from Oklahoma City, and former IBF Light Middleweight champion “Yory Boy” Campas (102-17-3, 79 KO’s) gunning for the 103rd victory of his amazing career against 33-fight veteran Julio Cesar Lanzas of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

On the undercard, former winner of “The Contender” and well-known Okalahoma-based junior middleweight spoiler Grady “Bad Boy” Brewer (31-19, 16 KOs) of Lawton, Oklahoma, will take on fellow proven veteran “Prince” Said Ouali (29-4, 21 KOs) of Las Vegas via Belgium/Morocco in an eight-round showdown.

Also scheduled for “Rumble on the River” action are:

Hometown rising star Juan Alejandro “Alex” Saucedo (14-0, 10 KOs) from Oklahoma City in an eight-round middleweight battle vs. Columbus, Ohio’s Miguel Alvarez (8-12-1, 7 KOs). Promoted by Top Rank and currently the hottest prospect to come out of OKC, undefeated Saucedo has served as a sparring partner for the great Manny Pacquiao.

Formerly #3 world-ranked contender Carson Jones (35-10-3, 25 KOs) will face rugged Liberal, Kansas, via Mexico’s Joel Vargas, a 20-fight veteran, in a welterweight six-rounder. Jones is a former USBA Welterweight, NABA Light Middleweight, WBC Continental Americas Light Middleweight and NABA USA Light Middleweight Champion.

In other action, Monterrey, Mexico’s Rolando Garza (4-0, 2 KOs) will take on Midwest City, Oklahoma’s Joe Strong (3-2, 1 KO) in a four-round junior middleweight battle; Oklahoma City’s Martin Morales (2-1, 1 KO) will face 34-fight veteran Jeremiah Torres of Belen, New Mexico, in an eight-round welterweight bout; and to start the action, Douro, Ontario, Canada’s undefeated Cody Crowley (2-0, 2 KOs) will take an early-career step up in class, as he faces 35-fight veteran Larry Smith of Dallas in a six-round junior middleweight bout.

One of Oklahoma’s most beloved sons, Sean O’Grady’s family settled in Oklahoma City when he was 11 years old.

In addition to being a world champion, O’Grady is also a college graduate, boxing analyst, television personality, actor and former teen idol across the United States Midwest. O’Grady won the World Boxing Association Lightweight Championship via unanimous decision over Hilmer Kenty on April 12, 1981. He retired with a record of 81 wins and 5 losses as a professional boxer, with 70 wins by knockout.

James E. Smith (“Smitty”) is best known for his interviews with famous international boxing stars and as host of “In This Corner”, America’s only syndicated, half-hour long boxing interview show. On May 23, 1997, Smith gave the play-by-play commentary of the first ever live internet boxing broadcast. He was inducted into the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame, Class of 2010.

Thomas Treiber is an internationally known ring announcer for professional boxing, mixed martial arts, K-1, and professional wrestling.Throughout his 20-year career he has worked in Japan, England, Kazakhstan, Uruguay, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Northern Ireland, Canada, and the United States.His credits include work on Showtime, HBO, ESPN, CBS, Fox Sports, Spike TV, Comcast Sports Net, USA Network, Sky Sports (UK), ITV (UK), Channel 5 (UK), Telefutura, and Pay-Per-View.
