After nearly an 18 month hiatus from professional boxing, Sean Watson is looking to shake off the Fatty nickname he has been given by his friends and win his first professional title on February 27th “My friends used to call me ‘Fatty’ when I was younger cause I was a bit chubby, and as I grew up it kind of stuck with me. But as I have been training for the run up to the fight I still get called it in the Gym to this day!

Looking ahead to the fight, the Fauldhouse fighter is looking forward to being between the ropes “Well I have been training hard, I sacrificed my Christmas to ensure I am in shape for the 27th and I look forward to being in action. This is my first time fighting over eight rounds so its new territory for me but im giving 101% in the gym to ensure I get the belt round my waist.
He adds “The show will be the first in Fauldhouse, so it is a real honour to be headlining it and I the local support are putting there money were there mouth is and have been snapping up the tickets for the event.
Prospect Boxing present an evening of Championship Boxing at the Fauldhouse Miners Welfare Club in Fauldhouse on Friday 27thFebruary 2015. Headlined by local fighter Sean Watson who fights for vacant British Masters Super Featherweight Title, the card also see Edinburgh Lee Redpath return to action while Livingstone’s Martin Taylor makes his pro debut. Also entertainment on the evening provided by Gary Greig who will be providing a disco.
