Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, today announced extensive live programming for UFC Fight Night™: Henderson vs. Thatch this Saturday, Feb. 14 at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo.
Fight Network will televise the live prelims exclusively in Canada from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. The main card is scheduled to air live on TSN5 at 10 p.m. ET.
The prelims include a featherweight scrap as No. 8-ranked contender Nik Lentz (25-6-2, 1NC) welcomes newcomer Levan “The Hornet” Makashvili (6-1) to the UFC, The Ultimate Fighter® Season 8 winner Efrain Escudero (22-9) battles Rodrigo de Lima (8-2-1) in lightweight action, fast-rising featherweights Chas Skelly (13-1) and Jim Alers (13-1) put their identical records on the line, plus a fiery flyweight contest pits No. 10-ranked Georgia native Zach Makovsky (18-5) against No. 11-ranked Kansas native Tim Elliott (10-5-1).
Fight Network will also present a live broadcast of the official UFC Fight Night™: Henderson vs. Thatch weigh-ins on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. ET as Benson Henderson tips the scales at welterweight for the first time in his UFC career opposite highly touted knockout artist Brandon Thatch.
Live pre-fight coverage will lead into the prelims on Saturday night with Fight Network’s UFC Pre-Show Live at 7 p.m. ET, featuring previews, predictions and analysis.
A UFC Post-Show Live will air on Fight Network immediately following the main card at approximately 1 a.m. ET, featuring highlights, recaps and the live post-fight press conference.
In addition to all the live pre and post-fight coverage, Fight Network is the destination for UFC library content, specials and series, including UFC Unleashed, UFC Now and UFC Ultimate Insider. All airings are listed at tv.fightnetwork.com.
