(March 27, 2015) –Undefeated, reigning World Series of Fighting (www.wsof.com) World Lightweight (155 pounds) Champion Justin Gaethje (13-0) weighed in at 154.2 pounds and hard-hitting challenger Luis “Baboon” Palomino (23-9) tipped the scales at 154.7 pounds to make their much-anticipated world championship main event showdown official for WSOF 19 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Ariz. tomorrow, Saturday, March 28, live on NBCSN.
WSOF 19 co-main event opponents Thiago Silva (16-3) and Matt “The Hammer” Hamill (11-5) tipped the scales at 205.6 pounds and 205.7 pounds, respectively, for what will serve as both the first bout in the WSOF multi-event light heavyweight (205 pounds) tournament as well as a rematch to their Oct. 9, 2013 matchup that Silva won by unanimous decision.
The four-bout WSOF 19: Gaethje vs. Palomino main card will air live, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT on NBCSN. The live preliminary card stream will begin at 6:15 p.m. ET/3:15 p.m. PT on an embeddable video player on www.wsof.com.
