Brooklyn, N.Y. (Friday, Nov. 20, 2015) – Belgian super welterweight Sheldon Moore (14-3-1, 10 KOs) will be making his debut under the Uprising Promotions banner next Saturday, November 28th, facing 29-fight veteran Lukasz Janik in Sweden. The bout goes down at the Rocklunda Hall in Vasteras, with Moore scheduled to make a quick turnaround on December 12th when he meets Islam Teffahi (17-5-2, 5 KOs) for the WBC International Silver and WBC Francophone Super Welterweight titles.

“Sheldon has a lot of talent and ability. We look to harness that energy and move him the right way,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “We are excited about his future as we build up the momentum for his upcoming title fight in December. After that fight, we are looking to bring him back over to the United States in January. I am excited about the possibilities for Sheldon and for us to have him part of the race towards our dream.”

Moore, 28, comes to Uprising Promotions following a fifth round knockout of Zoltan Sera this past May in Belgium. A winner of three of his last four bouts, the 5-foot-10 Moore has 10 stoppages over the 14 victories on his resume. He has fought predominately in Belgium over his 18-bout pro campaign, but he has also made four appearances in the United States as well. A boxer-puncher who is not afraid to test himself, Moore has faced nine opponents with three or less defeats.

Janik (14-14-1, 8 KOs) has been a bit of a world traveler when it comes to boxing, with the date in Sweden marking the tenth different country where he has competed as a professional prizefighter. Along with his willingness to travel, the Polish boxer has also fought 15 fighters with two or less losses over his pro campaign.
