At today’s official weigh-in at the Hilton Cardiff Hotel, undefeated WBA World Super-Bantamweight Champion Guillermo Rigondeaux and British Super-Bantamweight Champion Jazza Dickens both hit the weight on the scales ahead of tomorrow’s world title showdown.
Cuban great Rigondeaux, 16-0 10 KO’s, and Merseyside hero Dickens co-headline tomorrow night’s mouth-watering show at the Ice Arena Wales. Undefeated Rigondeaux hit the scales at 8st 9lbs with his challenger Dickens also came in at 8st 9lbs.
WBO World Lightweight Champion Terry Flanagan weighed in at 9st 8lbs ahead of his defence against South Africa’s Mzonke Fana who also came in at 9st 8lbs.
Clydach Vale puncher Liam Williams made weight ahead of his British Super-Welterweight defence against Wembley’s Gary Corcoran. Williams came in at 10st 13lbs while Corcoran came in a little lighter at 10st 11lbs.
Londoner Bradley Skeete made weight at 10st 6lbs ahead of his WBO European Welterweight defence against Frenchman Alex Lapelley who came in at 10st 5lbs.
Lastly, Baggies bomber Tommy Langford hit the scales at 11st 5lbs ahead of his WBO Intercontinental Middleweight defence against Finlands Timo Laine (11st 5lbs)
