Maidana dominated the action and had Maysonet in trouble several times throughout the fight. Maysonet did not come out for the 7th round.

Alan Castano remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Aaron Garcia.
In round two, Garcia was cut over the left eye from an accidental headbutt.
Castano, 155 1/2 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG won by scores of 78-74 on all cards and is now 11-0. Garcia, 158 1/2 lbs of Chicago, IL is 12-6-1.
Brandon Figueroa remained undefeated by stopping Aldaberto Zorilla in round three of their scheduled eight-round super bantamweight bout.
Zorilla was deducted a point in round two for a low blow. In round three, Figueroa put Zorilla on the canvas from a left hand. After a furious exchange, Figueroa finished off Zorilla with a barrage of body punches that put Zorilla on the canvas and the fight was stopped at 2:44.
Figueroa, 122 3/4 lbs of Weslaco, TX s now 9-0 with six knockouts. Zorilla, 122 1/2 lbs of San Juan, PR is 6-2.
