Austin, TX (October 16 2017) – Roy Jones Jr Boxing Promotions, along with Underwood Promotions are set to partner up on December 8th, 2017. The highly anticipated event will air live Friday night (Dec. 8th) on beIN SPORTS (9 p.m. CT / 11 p.m ET),) from inside the beautiful Round Rock Sports Center located in the beautiful scenic town of Austin, TX.
Seasons Beatings is promoted by Roy Jones Jr. Promotions (Las Vegas based) and Underwood Promotions (Austin based).
Calling the action live from ringside will be the dynamic trio Ray Flores, Jim Greishner and Sean Wheelock.
The 10-round main event is a match up of Aston Palcite (22-2-0, 19KO) vs. Jose Alfredo Rodriquez (32-6-0, 19KO) and former WBC World Champion, will fight for Aston’s NABF Super-Flyweight Belt. Aston is ranked No. 4 (as a flyweight) by the World Boxing of Organization (WBO), No. 7 with the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and No. 10 with the World Boxing Council (WBC).
Undefeated Kazakhstan Light Heavyweight Ali Akhemdov (9-0-0, 7KOs) will put his record on the line when he steps up against Texas native Roberto Silva Jr. (9-1-0, 6KO’s) in the 10-round Co-Main Event.
A dynamic trio of 6-rounders will fill the evening with high intensity when David Alfaro (1-0-0) faces off Kazkhstan native Iskander Kharsan (2-0-0), Light-Heavyweight Brian Vera (26-12-0, 16KO’s) goes toe-to-toe against Jas Phipps (9-6-2, 5KO), both looking to improve their KO record, and Texas locals to Reshard Hicks (9-0-0, 4KO’s) vs. Jonathan Steele (7-1-0, 6KO’s).
Also scheduled for a 4-rounder on the card will be Manny Mondragon (2-0-0) vs. Waco,TX local Antonio Castillo (2-0-0) and Light-Heavyweight Giovanni Loya (2-0-0) vs. Stetson Horne.
Texas native Kenton Sippio-Cook (10-3-0, 6KO) is scheduled to step in the ring and continue his winning streak in his hometown. Kenton who just won his last bout by way of TKO, is waiting to hear who his next opponent will step in the ring with him.
