Promoted by DiBella Entertainment, the heavy-handed Khytrov is determined to continue the momentum following his last two impressive victories. Competing in the fifth season of “The Contender” series, Khytrov went 2-1, including knockouts of Morgan Fitch and Malcolm McAllister. Most recently, he stopped Gabriel Pham in the sixth round on August 1, 2019, in Monroeville, PA, to capture the WBC USNBC super middleweight title.

Also fighting under the DiBella Entertainment banner, heavyweight knockout artist Amron “The Sandman” Sands (9-0, 8 KOs), of Orlando, FL, faces Monterrey, Mexico’s Daniel Najera (9-4-1, 4 KOs) in a scheduled eight-rounder. Fighting twice in 2019, the 25-year-old Sands has scored early knockouts this year against Hector Hodge in the opening frame and, most recently, a second-round stoppage of Thomas Hawkins on August 23. After his victory against Hawkins, Sands visited his native Nassau, Bahamas, where he spent weeks working with rescue units in the wake of the destruction from Hurricane Dorian.
