German boxing star Abass Baraou (8-0, 5 KOs) and his opponent Abraham Juarez (16-4, 6 KOs) have both made weight ahead of their super welterweight showdown tomorrow at the Work Your Champ Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Baraou, the reigning WBC International Champion, will be fighting in Hamburg for the first time since winning a bronze medal at the 2017 World Amateur Championships, and will be looking to continue his upward career trajectory in a ten-round clash with the 23-year-old Mexican known as the ‘Pitbull’. The event is a historic co-promotion between Germany’s two longest standing boxing promoters Team Sauerland and Universum featuring stars from both stable including Danish heavyweight hope Kem Ljungquist (9-0, 5 KOs) who takes on Ukraine’s German Skobenko (5-4-2, 2 KOs in an eight-round contest.
