MIKE ALTAMURA JOINS PROBELLUM AS HEAD OF TALENT DEVELOPMENT

Probellum is delighted to announce that leading boxing figure Mike Altamura will join its executive team as their new Head of Talent Development.

Altamura is one of the world’s most-respected boxing managers, advisors and international talent scouts. During his almost two-decade long career, he has helped to guide nine fighters to become world champions.

Hailing from Australia, Altamura is also the brainchild of MJA Platinum, which has helped to turn the prospects of today into the global superstars of tomorrow.

Altamura’s new and innovative approach to athlete development and management means he is a perfect fit for Probellum, as they bolster their all-star team with another key appointment.

The executive team already includes Richard Schaefer, one of the most respected and impactful boxing promoters of the last twenty years, who will serve as Probellum’s President, Eric Winter, a former UFC and Yahoo Sports executive, who will act as Probellum’s Chief Operating Officer, and Harrison Whitman, the former General Counsel of Top Rank, Inc, who will be Chief Strategy & Legal Officer of Probellum.

Elsewhere on the team, Anthony Petosa, an Emmy award winning content expert, will steer the look, feel and original-content arm of Probellum as the Executive Vice President of Production & Creative, and well-known boxing advisor and former Barclays Center executive, Anthony Catanzaro, will bring his athlete-first approach to Probellum as Vice President of Boxing Operations.
