Philadelphia, PA (May 20, 2022) – Rising lightweight knockout artist Victor “El Terrible” Padilla (9-0, 8 KOs), 135.9 lbs., makes his ring return tonight at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The 23-year-old southpaw will face tough Mexican Jesus Perez, 136 lbs., of Culiacan, Sinaloa, in an eight-round contest. The event will be streamed live on BXNGTV.com, starting at 7:00pm ET.

In his last bout, Padilla impressively stopped touted and previously unbeaten Thomas Velasquez, as part of SHOWTIME’s “ShoBox” series, on March 10, 2021, from Mohegan Sun Casino, in Uncasville, CT. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the fifth-round, Padilla staggered Velasquez with a series of right hooks then dropped him with a follow-up barrage, which prompted the referee to halt the contest. Born in Puerto Rico, now living in Berlin, NJ, Padilla turned professional in December 2016, following a stellar amateur career that included three National championships, ending with a record of 90-7.
