The telecast begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with the Davis vs. Romero and will also feature WBA Super Middleweight Champion and Minneapolis fan-favorite David Morrell Jr. facing Kalvin Henderson in the co-main event.
Davis’ stunning sixth-round stoppage of Romero in Brooklyn to retain his WBA Lightweight Title was a box office success – the highest-grossing and most-attended combat sports event in the arena’s history, including all mixed martial arts and wrestling events, with 18,970 in attendance for the spectacle on Memorial Day Weekend. The event was also one of the most attended events in arena history for any occasion, ranking in the top-five biggest, representing the return of big-time boxing to the arena.
