New Jersey’s top name in MMA promotions, The Darwish Brothers, proudly announce their next blockbuster show: EFC WARRIOR on Saturday, August 24, in the Grand Ballroom at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
EFC WARRIOR will host no less than four exciting title fights, headlined by the EFC’s newest champion, the colorful and brash New Yorker Christopher Vallaro (6-2), who will defend his EFC Light Heavyweight Championship for the first time, against New Jersey’s dangerous Mustafa Khalil (3-1) of Lionheart MMA.
Tickets for EFC WARRIOR are priced at: $125, $100, $67 and $46 and are on sale now by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-736-1420 or online at www.ticketmaster.com, at the EFC website: www.efcmma.com, or at the Trump Taj Mahal box office on fight night.
In the very special co-featured bout, female warriors Jen Lopez (4-1) from AMA Fight Club in Whippany, NJ, and Roya Darvishian (5-2) of Lloyd Irvin MMA in Camp Springs, MD, will fight a rematch to their sensational and unforgettable battle last February (won by Darvishian) and, in the process, will vie for the EFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship.
Also scheduled for title-fight clashes that night are Gabriel Ruiz (3-2) of the EFC Fight Club in Woodland Park, NJ and Jovany Alvarez (4-2) from Modern Martial Arts in Englishtown, NJ, will fight for the EFC Featherweight Championship; and the always exciting Barat Jan (3-0) of Eagle Martial Arts in Boonton, NJ, will take on Andrew Salas (2-1) of Zealous Nation MMA in Middlesex, NJ, for the EFC Middleweight Championship.
“Four title fights in one night, plus so many other great matchups. I’m excited. This is definitely our biggest show yet,” said event co-promoter Hani Darwish. “Chris Vallaro is a star in the making with his personality and toughness. His fights are always exciting and he brings a lot of flair to the cage that fans either love or love to hate. His opponent, Mustafa Khalil, is a beast. In the co-main, we’ve got the female bout, which, like their first fight, is going to be a fight of the year candidate in the New Jersey MMA scene. Both those girls will eventually be stars of the sport and they’re having the rematch everyone wants to see on our show. Every match-up is extremely competitive and solid. I’m very proud to be part of this.”

Doors open at 7 pm on fight night and the first bout is at 8 pm. All bouts subject to change.
