Bensalem, PA—Joe Hand Promotions announced today that Parx Casino® will host Joe Hand’s Xcite Fight Night 3 at the Xcite Center on Friday, March 1, 2019. The night of professional boxing features homegrown talent from the Philadelphia area.
The event will be the first of four Joe Hand’s Xcite Fight Night boxing events in 2019 at Parx Casino®. The other three dates for 2019 are June 14, Sept. 20 and Nov. 15. Next year will be an exciting year for boxing in Bensalem.
The seven-bout fight card figures to attract a huge crowd on March 1. Last year’s shows packed the house and the crowd had an energy that had fight fans on the edge of their seats.
The lineup has not been announced, but will be packed with local fighters in competitive fights.
“We will give these fighters a platform to perform on and grow on,” said Joe Hand Sr. “These young fighters are here to build their fan base. They will put their reputations on the line in the kind of fights that old-timers remember. This event is just another stepping stone for them to fight on a nationally televised cards, and I am excited to bring boxing back to the spectacular Xcite Center. It is a great boxing venue.”
The Xcite Fight Night series is here to promote fights that fans will pay to see and get good value for their dollar. Our goal is to challenge fighters on the series by making competitive fights to help fighters develop their skill, not just their won-loss record, and to entertain our Parx Casino® guests.
