Paul vs. Bourland will mark Paul’s first entrance into the ring this year following his most impressive performance to date on Friday, December 15, in which he secured a viral, first round knockout of three-time Golden Glove winner Andre August for his ninth professional win. Ryan “Rhino” Bourland, born June 17, 1988 has a professional boxing record of 17-2-0 (6 KO). He grew up in Vallejo, California where he started learning how to box in the sixth grade. Ryan had over 15 amateur bouts, was a Golden Gloves Champion and fought in the National Junior Olympics. Ryan’s professional boxing record began at age 25. Ryan was recognized as Northern California’s Fighter of the year by Inside The Ropes Boxing in 2016. In 2018 Ryan won the regional light heavyweight GBO title in his fight against Jose Hernandez II. Throughout Ryan’s career he has always given back to the community by coaching boxing to local youth and adults. Ryan was featured sparring in the movie “Pride Jewel” (2022). Amanda Serrano, the first-ever Puerto Rican undisputed world champion, started her current featherweight title reign by defeating Heather Hardy in a brutal 10-round fight in 2019 to win the WBO belt, and has since defended her WBO belt six times. Serrano offered Hardy redemption in August 2023, but successfully defended her undisputed featherweight world champion title for the first time in a decisive 10 round unanimous decision victory. 17-year-old Wanna Walton signed with MVP in July 2023, and has since remained an amateur boxer in development. As the youngest-ever athlete to sign with Nike’s Jordan Brand, Walton has continued to excel as a boxer and now will make his global debut in MVP’s first marquee event of 2024. Walton began boxing at the age of four, and at age eight became one of America’s youngest amateur prospects. His skill and hard work earned him the title of multi-time Junior Regional Champion and two-time Junior Olympic national silver medalist. Nestor Bravo remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Will Madera at The Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Bravo landed 98 of 363 punches. Madera was 83 of 374.

Bravo won by scores of 99-91 and 96-94 twice and is now 22-0. Madera is 17-3-3.

Damian Lescallie win a 10-round unanimous decision over Hugo Noriega in a welterweight bout.

Lescalle was 162 of 557 punches. Noriega was 98 of 414.

Lescallie won by scores of 97-92 twice and 96-93 and is now 5-0. Noriega is 8-1.

In a battle of undefeated welterweights, Elijah Flores won a six-round majority decision over Elijah Williams.

Flores landed 82 of 188 punches. Williams was 74 of 294.

Flores won by scores of 58-56 twice and 57-57 and is now 6-0. Williams is 6-1.

Krystal Rosado made a successful pro debut with a second round stoppage over Tarrethia Dixon in a scheduled four-round super flyweight bout.

Rosado landed a big combination that forced a stoppage at 1:00 of round two.

Rosado is 1-0 with one stoppage. Dixon is 1-1.

Julian Smith won a six-round majority decision over Julio Rosa in a super lightweight bout.

Smith won by scores of 60-54, 59-55 and 57-57 and is now 7-2. Rosa is 8-3.

Lorenzo Medina stopped Antonio Torres in round three of their six-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Medina dropped Torres with a counter right hand. In round three, Medina hurt Torres with a hard left hook. He followed that up with a big flurry of punches to the head and the fight was stopped at 2:49.

Medina is 8-0 with seven knockouts. Torres is 4-1.

Alexander Rios stopped Javier Avila in the first round of their their six-round lightweight bout.

Rios dropped Avila with a right to the body and the fight was stopped at 1:08.

Rios, 141 lbs is now 7-0 with three knockouts. Avila is 136 lbs is 3-2.

Antravous Ingram won a four-round unanimous decision over Orlenis Licea in a junior middleweight bout.

In round one, Ingram dropped Licea with a right hook.

In round three, Ingram dropped Licea with another right hook.

Ingram won by scores of 38-35 and 37-36 twice and is now 6-0. Licea is 0-1-1.

Ahead of her debut, Rosado represented Puerto Rico in the 2023 IBA Women’s World Championships and won in an impressive feat against Petrae Mezei. The 20-year-old also took home a Bronze medal at this year’s Central American and Caribbean Games. 

Rosado’s competitor will be Tarrethia Dixon who holds the record of 1-0 with 1 KO. The 27-year-old Kalamazoo, Michigan native is coming off her first victory, which ended in a first round KO against the former amateur standout Natalie Gray. 

“I met Krystal years ago in Puerto Rico when she was 15 years old. Krystal and her mother used to attend each of my boxing matches and over time, we became incredibly close. She has an immeasurable amount of untapped potential and her growth as an athlete is already remarkable.
