Jay Harris remained undefeated with a 4th round stoppage over Paddy Barnes in a flyweight bout at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Ireland

In round three, Barnes was cut over the right eye. Seconds later the two had a furious exchange in the center of the ring. With a minute to go in the round, Barnes landed a perfect left hook to the body that Barnes on the canvas. In round four, Harris landed a hard right to the head that sent Barnes down for the 10-count at 2:14.

Harris is now 17-0 with nine knockouts. Barnes is 6-3.

Sean McComb won an eight-round decision over Emilano Rodriguez in a junior welterweight bout.

McComb, 141 lbs of Belfast IRE won by a score of 78-73, and is now 9-0. Rodriguez, 139 lbs of Tedonia, ARG is 23-6.

Former WBO Lightweight champion Terry Flanagan defeated Michael Ansah by 4th round disqualification in a scheduled eight-round junior welterweight bout.

Ansah was deducted a point in round three for hitting on the break. he committed the same offense in the next round, and the bout was stopped at 2:58.

Flanagan, 139 lbs of Manchester, UK is 35-2. ANsah, 135 lbs of Accra, GHA is 17-10-2.

Paddy Donovan made a successful pro debut with a one-punch knockout over Arturo Lopez in round one of their scheduled four round welterweight bout.

Donovan landed a perfect left hand that put Lopez flat on his back at 1:16 of round one.

Donovan, 147 lbs of Limerick, IRE is 1-0 with one knockout. Lopez, 144 lbs of Girona, MEX is 5-14-3.

Seanie Duffy remained perfect by pounding out a four-round decision over Edwin Tellez in a lightweight fight.

Duffy, 135 lbs of Ireland won by a 40-36 score, and is now 3-0. Tellez, 131 lbs of Nicaragua is 12-58-5.

Pierce O’Leary won his pro debut with a four-round decision over Oscar Amador in a welterweight fight.

O’Leary, 143 lbs of Ireland won by a 40-36 score, and is now 1-0. Amador, 145 lbs of Nicaragua is 10-23.

The weekend extravaganza kicks off Friday at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, as unbeaten flyweight contender Jay Harris will battle three-time Irish Olympian Paddy Barnes in a 12-rounder at Ulster Hall in Belfast.
 
Warrington will make the third defense of his title Saturday against Sofiane Takoucht at the First Direct Arena in his hometown of Leeds, England. Warrington-Takoucht and select undercard bouts will stream live on ESPN+ starting at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT.
 
Warrington (29-0, 6 KOs), nicknamed “The Leeds Warrior,” won the world title in his hometown last May with a well-deserved split decision victory over Lee Selby. He returned later that year and bested former two-weight world champion Carl Frampton by unanimous decision in a Fight of the Year contender. In his last outing, Warrington edged Kid Galahad via split decision. Takoucht (35-3-1, 13 KOs) has won eight consecutive bouts and is a former European and IBF International featherweight champion.
 
In other ESPN+ streaming action on the Warrington-Takoucht card:

• Zelfa Barrett (22-1, 13 KOs) will make the first defense of his Commonwealth super featherweight title in a 12-rounder against Scottish veteran Jordan McCorry (18-6-1, 4 KOs).
   
• In a 12-rounder for the vacant Commonwealth light heavyweight title, Lyndon Arthur (15-0, 12 KOs) will take on Emmanuel Anim (14-2-1, 12 KOs).
   
• Troy Williamson (11-0-1, 8 KOs) will fight France’s Fouad El Massoudi (17-11, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBO European super welterweight championship.

Harris (16-0, 8 KOs) is coming off a career-best win June 1 over former world title challenger Angel Moreno, and he is taking yet another step up against Barnes (6-2, 1 KO), who will have the crowd behind him. Barnes won a pair of Olympic bronze medals as an amateur, but in a bid for the WBC flyweight world title last August, he lost via fourth-round knockout to Cristofer Rosales. He dropped a split decision to Oscar Mojica in his comeback bout but rebounded to decision Joel Sanchez over six rounds in August.

The Harris-Barnes stream will also include the following bouts:

• Super lightweight sensation Sean McComb (8-0, 4 KOs) will fight Emiliano Dominguez Rodriguez (23-5, 9 KOs) in an eight-rounder.

NEW YORK CITY (March 15, 2019) – For the third consecutive year, Michael “Mick” Conlan is ready to crash the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden for a St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza.

Conlan (10-0, 7 KOs) will defend his WBO Intercontinental featherweight strap against Ruben Garcia Hernandez (24-3-2, 10 KOs) on Sunday in a 10-rounder in the special attraction. In the welterweight main event, Brooklyn native and former welterweight world champion Luis Collazo (38-7, 20 KOs) will face Samuel Vargas (30-4-2, 14 KOs) in a 10-rounder. And, in a six-round bantamweight bout with some Irish flare, two-time Irish Olympic bronze medalist Paddy Barnes (5-1, 1 KO) will fight Oscar Mojica (11-5-1, 1 KO).

Conlan-Hernandez, Collazo-Vargas, and Barnes-Mojica will stream live on ESPN+ beginning at 6 p.m. ET. The undercard, including appearances by top prospects Joseph Adorno, Josue Vargas, John Bauza, Lee Reeves, and former Conlan Olympic nemesis Vladimir Nikitin will stream on ESPN+ starting at 3 p.m. ET.

“I believe I’m living my purpose right now. The things I’ve been through in boxing, a lot of fighters wouldn’t deal with. It fuels my passion. I’ve had some rough roads. You know what, at the end of the day, this is what I was called to do. I love it. I just like inspiring those that always have been counted out, like myself. I’m still able to do it and perform at my best and give the fans what they want, which is excitement.”
