Atlantic City, NJ (September 3, 2021)–After a sold-out maiden show, The 2nd installment of “Boardwalk Boxing Powered by Hard Hitting Promotions in Association with Showboat Hotel Atlantic City” will take place on Saturday night, September 25th.

In the eight-round main event, recent Hard Hitting Promotions signee Anthony “Juice” Young will take on Luis Sanchez in the headline welterweight bout.

Young, 33 of Atlantic City, New Jersey has a record of 22-2 with eight knockouts.

Young is a 10 year-professional who has developed into one of the most popular fighters in the Tri-State area.

Young became a household name in the boxing world when he scored an emphatic 3rd round stoppage over former world champion Sadam Ali (27-2) on May 4, 2019 in Las Vegas. With that win, Young won the WBC USNBC Silver welterweight title.

Young is also a former New Jersey State Welterweight champion.

Young also defeated tough Jose Javier Calderon.

Young is coming off a unanimous decision over Todd Manuel on July 31st at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City.

Sanchez of San Juan, Puerto Rico has an impressive record of 9-1 with six knockouts.

Sanchez, 27 years-old, is a five-year professional who is coming off a win over Ryan Pino on March 25th in San Juan.

Wesley Ferrer (14-1-1, 7 KOs) of Brooklyn, NY takes on an opponent to be named in a lightweight fight.

Brandun Lee continued to be impressive in his early career as he stopped Samuel Teah in round three of a scheduled 10-round junior welterweight bout at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

In round three, Lee dropped Teah with a hard right. Later in the round, Lee landed a booming right to the face that sent Teah plummeting on his back, and the fight was immediately stopped at 1:43.

Lee, 139 3/4 lbs of La Quinta, CA is 22-0 with 20 knockouts. Teah, 139 lbs of Philadelphia via Liberia is 17-4-1.

“Honestly, I don’t think I learned a whole lot tonight. I knew he couldn’t outbox me. I knew he couldn’t outpunch me. I knew the knockout was going to come and that one was definitely one of my top one or two favorites so far in my career.

“This is probably my biggest accomplishment yet. It was a step up in competition and even the betting odds were way closer than usual. Most of the time, I’m a -5,000 favorite or something like that and this time it was only -1,000. I was getting a lot of DM’s on Instagram and Twitter of people telling me that Sam is going to be tough. Sam is going to beat you. But hopefully, the doctors check him out and everything is all good.

White stops Lopez in 6

Jordan White stopped Misael Lopez in round six of a scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout.

In round six, White scored a knockdown with a hard right. Moments later, White landed a flush combination that sent Lopez down again, and the fight was stopped at 2:40.

White, 130 lbs of Waldorf, MD is 11-1 with nine knockouts. Lopez, 129 3/4 lbs of Denver CO is 10-1.

Ortiz Decisions Hill

Steven Ortiz won an eight-round unanimous decision over Jeremy Hill in a battle of undefeated lightweights.

Ortiz, 134 3/4 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 79-73 and 77-75 twice and is now 12-0. Hill, 134 3/4 lbs of New Orleans, LA is now 14-1.

Padilla Stops Velasquez in 5

Victor Padilla stopped Thomas Velasquez in round five of a scheduled eight-round bout of undefeated lightweights.

In round one, Velasquez landed a perfect counter right that sent Padilla down to the canvas.

In round five, Padilla rocked Velasquez with a right hook and and hurt Velasquez repeatedly until he fell on the canvas. With Velasquez hurt, Padilla rocked Velasquez several more times until the bout was stopped at 1:56.

Padilla, 134 lbs of Williamstown, NJ is 9-0 with eight knockouts. Velasquez, 135 lbs of Philadelphia is 10-1-1.

“You have to understand that I had a year off and there were a lot of emotions heading into this fight. My timing was a little off. I was trying to throw with a lot of power so that’s why I was missing so much. He wasn’t catching me but he was making me miss. By the start of the fourth round, I started to relax and I realized that when I started putting pressure on him he didn’t know what to do. I just needed to calm down and let the knockout come naturally.

“Next fight, you’re going to see a better me. That’s the plan. I’m growing. I’m just 22 years old. I’m growing in the sport and I’m growing as a man. I’m a lot wiser now. ATLANTIC CITY–Gabriel Pham scored the biggest win of his career as he won an eight-round unanimous decision over Derrick Webster in a super middleweight bout that highlighted a six-bout card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino

In round one, Pham dropped Webster with a jab. Pham drilled Webster with a perfect straight left in round four that sent him to the canvas.

There was some spirited exchanges down the stretch, but Pham won by scores 78-72 twice and 77-73.

Pham, 164 lbs of Atlantic City is 12-2. Webster, 166 lbs of Glassboro, NJ is 28-3.

Jeremy Cuevas stopped Nestor Paniagua in round three of a scheduled six-round junior welterweight bout.

The time was 2:55 of round three for Cuevas, 140.4 lbs of Philadelphia, who is now 13-1 with 10 knockouts. Paniagua, 137 lbs of Buenos Aries, ARG is 26-10-2.

Christian Tapia stopped Carlos Colon in round five of their scheduled six-round super featherweight bout.

The time of the finish was 2:02 for Tapia 131 lbs of Coamo, PR and is now 11-0 with 10 knockouts. Colon, 129 lbs of Hatillo, PR is 5-3.

Thomas Velasquez stopped Gustavo Molina in round three of a scheduled six-round lightweight bout.

In round three, Velasquez hurt Molina body shots several times. Velasquez backed Molina up in the corner and dropped Molina with another body shot, and the fight was stopped at 2:48.

Velasquez, 133.4 lbs of Philadelphia is 10-0-1 with six knockouts. Molina, 134 lbs of Mexico is 24-22 with nine knockouts.

Isiah Seldon stopped Darryl Bunting in round two of their scheduled six-round super middleweight bout.

Seldon dropped Bunting with a hard right hand to start the second frame. Seldon finished off Bunting with a plethora of hard shots that had referee Eric Dali stop the fight at 34 seconds.

Seldon, 159.4 lbs of Somers Point, NJ is 14-3-1 with five knockouts. Bunting. 162.6 lbs of Asbury Park, NJ is 4-7-2.

Benny Sinakin won a four-round unanimous decision over LeRoy Jones in a light heavyweight bout.

In round three, Jones was deducted a point for holding.

Jones was deducted another point for holding in the final frame.

Sinakin, 173.6 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 4034 on all cards and is now 6-0. Jones, 174.2 lbs of Saint Louis is 3-8.

Atlantic City natives in welterweight contender, Anthony “Juice” Young plus super middleweight DeCarlo Perez pas well as undefeated super featherweight Thomas Velasquez will be added to an impressive lineup that will be headlined by a eight-round South Jersey Super Middleweight Showdown between Derrick Webster and Gabriel Pham.

Young has a record of 21-2 with eight knockouts. The 32 year-old Young is a nine-year professional who has wins over Jose Javier Calderon (4-1) and his last bout when he burst into contendership when he stopped former junior middleweight world champion Sadam Ali (27-2) in three rounds on May 4th in Las Vegas.

Young will be making his 13th appearance in Atlantic City.

Perez has a record of 17-6-1 with five knockouts, will be competing in a six-round super middleweight bout. The 28 year-old Perez is a 10 year-professional who has wins over Shamone Alvarez (21-5), Dante Moore (8-0-2), Jamar Freeman (9-1-2), Marcus Willis (13-3-2), Tyrone Bruns (22-2-1), Jesse Nicklow (24-5-3), Juan Ubaldo Cabbrera (23-0), Lanell Bellows (16-1-1),. In his last bout, Perez won an eight-round unanimous decision over cross-town rival Antowyan Aikens on September 8, 2018 in Atlantic City.

Perez will making his 10th hometown start.

Velasquez of Philadelphia has a record of 9-0-1 with five knockouts. The 24 year-old Velasquez is a five year professional, has Grashino Yancy (1-0). In his last bout, Velasquez battled to a draw with Tyrome Jones on September 19, 2017 in Bethlehem, Pa.
